My name is Anusha Ghildyal. I am a 3rd Year Public Health Policy major. I joined GHREAT because I wanted to learn more about global health and collaborate with peers on research projects, writing articles, and working on initiatives which promote global health in our community. I am excited to be part of a group filled with driven individuals and am excited to learn a lot this year. I love traveling, eating & trying out new places, concerts, music, dance, hiking, and quality time with friends and family!

Hi! My name is Sarah Silverberg-Rajna and I am from the Bay Area. I am currently a second year with a Public Health Policy major. I am excited to join GHREAT this year because of my interest in global health and what I can do to make a difference. Since starting at UCI a bit over a year ago, I have enjoyed my public health classes a lot and am very intrigued to learn more about global health, a continuously growing field within public health. I am also eager to be involved in research and to learn about different strategies and prevention plans there are in place to navigate different global health issues. I also can't wait to work with the other student researchers and create a collaborative environment to work in together. In my free time I love to thrift, hike, run, and go to the beach! My favorite music artist is Taylor Swift and my favorite foods are sushi and Thai food!

Hi! I'm Ishana Das and I'm a first year biological sciences major! I'm super excited to be a part of GHREAT! I decided to join GHREAT because I wanted to learn more about Global Health. As a pre-med student, I wanted to learn the social and global side of health rather than just learning about the scientific side. I also joined GHREAT to learn how to be an advocate for people all over the world that are underserved in terms of health. I'm looking forward to gaining a new perspective on health and medicine this year! In my free time, I love painting/drawing, playing my instruments, and listening to music. I enjoy reading, watching movies, baking, and going to concerts as well!

Hi everyone! My name is Caitlin and I’m a fourth year Public Health Sciences major. My name is Dainysah Baptiste, I am a third-year Public Health Policy Major! I decided to join GHREAT because I wanted to learn more about Global Health and its main distinguishments. I am also interested in learning more about how we can achieve health equity for everyone worldwide. Researching the policies that each Country has is an interest I have. Ultimately, I would like to be able to help every single person have accessible health care. I plan to use the skills I will learn from GHREAT for the rest of my University journey in order to achieve my career goals. Some of my hobbies are listening to music and going to the gym! I love going to concerts, Harry Styles has been one of my favorite concerts. I currently work on campus at the Division of Career Pathways, it's a great resource to have. Hi everyone, my name is Anthony James Nocedal and I’m a third year transfer student double majoring in Public Health Sciences and Criminology! I joined GHREAT because my capstone project in community college integrated several global health aspects in the context of academic pressure within Sourh Korean students, and coming to UCI, I wanted to continue more research on this global scale. On a more general note, I absolutely love research and I’m so grateful to get that chance to pursue that passion here at GHREAT! Apart from academics, I’ve played the electric guitar for about six years now, have two dogs and two cats, am okay at motorcycling, and I am the ASUCI Mental Health Commissioner this year!

Hi everyone!! My name is Danah Al Dukhayyil and I am from Saudi Arabia. I am a senior majoring in Public Health Policy with a minor in Political Science. I am thrilled to be a member of GHREAT again to raise awareness about health issue through research and education. I joined GHREAT because I was looking for people who are supportive and share the same interests as me within the health field; and I found that after joining GHREAT. I made friends through that and have learned so much from them! I have two research experiences in the past that required some wet lab work and with GHREAT it will be a different kind of research which I am very excited about! Other than my love for research, I also enjoy reading books, listening to music, and socializing (If you see me on campus come say hi to me! I would love to talk and get to know you <3). I am really looking forward to this year with our amazing group!
